Reviews and Ratings
This campsite offers excellent accommodation options and is perfect if you're heading out for a ferry. The facilities were great, including a nice pool that kids loved, although the kitchen could use a bit more functionality. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, and we really enjoyed the beautiful view. A minor downside was the slow electric cooking rings in the kitchen, but overall, it's fantastic value for the price.
I had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel just before catching the ferry to Wellington. The accommodations were clean and well-equipped, and I appreciated the unique artwork throughout the place. The location was perfect, offering a beautiful view of the bay, though the pool area could be larger. Overall, the experience was worth every penny, and I felt right at home during my stay.
I had a wonderful stay at this park hotel! The location was fantastic, being close to the ferry terminal and offering stunning views of the bay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making me feel right at home. However, the electric stove in the kitchen was a bit slow to heat up, which was slightly inconvenient. The overall experience was great, and I would definitely consider staying here again for the value and amenities provided.
I had a really pleasant stay at this campsite, which was super convenient when arriving from the North Island ferry. The views from the camp were lovely, and although the kitchen facilities could improve, everything else was just fine. It’s a short drive to the center of Picton where I found several nice cafes and shops. Overall, for a budget-friendly option, I found this place quite enjoyable and well worth the money.
This campsite offers an outstanding experience with excellent accommodations and beautiful surroundings. The amenities are top-notch, and the friendly hosts create a welcoming atmosphere. However, be prepared for some waiting time when using the kitchen's electric rings, as there is limited gas available.
